Strengths available : 500mg , 1gm & 2gm
Storage : Store at temperature between 15ºC – 25ºC
Dosage :
Skin and Structure Infection :
- 500 mg IV every 8 hours
- Complicated infections due to Pseudomonas aeruginosa: 1 g IV every 8 hours
Intraabdominal Infection :
- 1 g IV every 8 hours
Meningitis :
- 2 g IV every 8 hours for 7 to 21 days
Nosocomial Pneumonia :
- 1 g IV every 8 hours
SIDE EFFECTS
Common side effects Nausea, Vomiting, Seizure.
