ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Strengths available : 150mg (15ml) & 450mg (45ml) Injection
Storage : Store at temperature between 15°C – 25°C
Dosage :
- Intravenous Adult- 300-600mg/metre square i.v.infusion every 3-4 weeks
- For brain tumors in children- 175mg/metre square weekly for 4 weeks
SIDE EFFECTS
Side effects : Nausea, Vomiting, Anemia, Fatigue, Reduced blood platelets, Increased liver enzymes, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth), Peripheral sensory neuropathy, Diarrhoea.
